As we focus on building a high-margin, brand-led D2C engine, we are hiring a Head of D2C to own growth, profitability, and customer experience end-to-end.
Role Overview
The Head of D2C will be responsible for scaling revenue, improving unit economics, and building strong customer relationships through the brand's website and owned channels. This is a high-ownership leadership role requiring strategic thinking, execution excellence, and cross-functional management.
Key Responsibilities
1. D2C Growth & Revenue Ownership
- Own P&L for the D2C business (Revenue, Margin, CAC, LTV).
- Drive GMV growth through paid, organic, retention & CRO initiatives.
- Plan monthly, quarterly, and annual D2C growth roadmaps.
2. Website & Conversion Optimization
- Own website performance including UX, CRO, speed, and funnel metrics.
- Work closely with UI/UX, tech, and performance teams to improve CVR & AOV.
- Lead landing page strategy for campaigns and launches.
3. Performance & Retention Marketing
- Oversee performance marketing (Meta, Google, affiliates).
- Drive retention via Email, WhatsApp, SMS, loyalty & repeat programs.
- Optimize CAC vs LTV for sustainable scaling.
4. Customer Experience & Support
- Own end-to-end customer journey (pre-purchase post-purchase).
- Work with Customer Support Manager to improve NPS, reviews, and repeat rates.
- Implement automation & CRM best practices.
5. Product, Pricing & Merchandising
- Collaborate with design & merchandising teams for D2C-exclusive drops.
- Define pricing, offers, bundles, and promotional strategies.
- Use data to guide inventory planning for D2C.
6. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Management
- Build and manage teams across performance, content, CRM, tech & analytics.
- Set KPIs, dashboards, and accountability frameworks.
- Coordinate with marketplace, supply chain, finance, and marketing heads.
7. Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Track KPIs: GMV, CVR, AOV, CAC, LTV, Repeat Rate, ROAS.
- Present insights and growth plans to leadership regularly.
- Drive data-backed decision making across the D2C function.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of D2C funnels, CRO, paid marketing & retention.
- Proven experience owning D2C P&L.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret dashboards & metrics.
- Leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce tech stacks (Shopify preferred).
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
Experience Required
- 610 years in D2C / E-commerce / Digital Growth roles.
- At least 3+ years in a leadership or head role.
- Experience scaling D2C revenue for fashion/lifestyle brands is a strong plus.
