Purpose of the Role
The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Financial Planning and Analytics Product Team in the capacity of D&T Analyst II - Finance.
Location: Mumbai (Hybrid Eligible)/Remote okay pan india lovcation
This role will report into the Manager - Finance (Enterprise Functions) in India and functionally collaborate with the Global Enterprise Functions Team. It is an Individual Contributor role.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
. Process Excellence and Advanced Capabilities/Analytics:
o Apply knowledge of financial planning and reporting to collaborate with finance business stakeholders in providing solution recommendations and planning business needs and priorities.
o Work closely with finance and IT stakeholders on a wide range of topics that require SAP BPC Embedded financial expertise, including business requirements analysis, issue resolution, root-cause analysis, business process optimization, integration topics, cross-functional projects, end-user training, translating requirements into technical solutions, and providing cost-benefit analysis and estimates.
o Drive delivery and support of planning and analysis solutions and enhancements in the areas of Financial Planning & Analysis and Supply Chain Finance leveraging multiple technologies including SAP BPC Embedded, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW, AMDP, and AFO Reporting.
o Lead business requirement sessions to accomplish team goals and serve as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements through build and deployments.
o Play a technical lead role on large deliverables i ncluding converting business requirements into technical work and providing work direction to various technical team members.
o Prepare technical specifications, proactively facilitate knowledge transfer, and drive user adoption of new and existing solutions.
o Participate on a rotating support schedule.
. Stakeholder Management:
o Partner with Finance, Enterprise Functions, and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend scalable technology solutions.
o Collaborate with global teams to ensure successful delivery and support of planning and reporting solutions.
o Effectively communicate technical concepts, project updates, and solution recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
o Influence stakeholders and drive alignment on business priorities and solution approaches.
. Operational & Executional Excellence:
o Deliver and support planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics solutions across Financial Planning & Analysis and Supply Chain Finance domains.
o Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
o Support deployment activities, issue resolution, and production support.
o Ensure timely delivery of enhancements, bug fixes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
. Continuous Improvement Mindset:
o Identify opportunities to improve financial planning and reporting processes through automation and technology.
o Drive adoption of best practices across SAP BPC Embedded, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW, and related technologies.
o Continuously enhance technical and functional expertise in Finance and Analytics solutions.
o Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and mentor team members where required.
Must Have Technical Skills and Experience
o 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP BPC Embedded in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role.
o Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: SAP BPC Embedded, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW, and AMDP Development.
o Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills at the tactical level.
o Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
o Positive attitude and commitment to a collaborative team delivery approach.
Good to Have Skills
o Experience working in an Agile methodology environment.
o Tableau end-user experience.
o Hands-on SAP FI and COPA configuration experience.
o Experience with Cloud Platforms for Data and Analytics.
Skill Proficiency Experience
o Familiarity with ADO and Agile-Scrum methodologies.
o Comfortable presenting to senior leaders.
o Experience managing vendor relationships effectively.
o Expertise across the FP&A domain.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant discipline from an accredited university.
5+ years of relevant experience in SAP BPC Embedded, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Analysis, or Data Analysis roles.
Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analytics processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP BPC Embedded, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW, and AMDP Development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional global teams and working in enterprise environments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
SAP Certification in SAP Finance.
CA, Master's in Finance, BSc/MS in Information Systems from a Tier-1 institute.
Understanding of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Knowledge of Tableau, SAP FI, COPA, Cloud Platforms, and Data Analytics solutions.
