The D&T Analyst partners with Product Owners, Lead Analysts, and cross-functional D&T teams to translate business objectives into technically sound, value-driven solutions. The role supports requirements discovery, solution analysis, user story development, and end-to-end delivery activities to ensure scalable, high-quality technology outcomes.
The D&T Analyst is expected to demonstrate strong learning agility, building deep understanding of business domains, system capabilities, data flows, and technical patterns to deliver solutions with measurable business impact.
Partner with Product Owners, Lead Analysts, developers, architects, and business stakeholders to support value-driven initiatives.
Assist in capturing business requirements, translating them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
Participate in workshops, discovery sessions, and backlog refinement to highlight risks, dependencies, and solution considerations.
Support end-to-end delivery, including test case creation, execution, defect logging, and post-implementation validation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product vision and agile ways of working.
< /li>Assist in identifying process gaps, data or reporting issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Build understanding of upstream and downstream impacts within the broader technical ecosystem.
Partner with BI developers and analysts to support standardized, scalable reporting and dashboards.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills ability to work through ambiguity with guidance.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize and share clear updates.
Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative, with experience in agile environments.
Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn technical concepts and domain knowledge.
Prior experience as an analyst or in a technical/systems-related role.
Exposure to global or cross-functional team environments.
Foundational understanding of system capabilities, enterprise applications, and technical concepts.
Strong understanding of data fundamentals, including data models, schemas, joins, and relationships.
SQL proficiency for writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries.
Experience with data platforms/lakes (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, upstream data flows, and dependencies.
Ability to identify data issues, perform validations, and reconcile metrics against source systems.
Ability to document logic, definitions, technical assumptions, and data lineage clearly.
Deep understanding of KPIs, metric calculations, and business definitions.
Ability to translate business questions into reporting requirements and enable meaningful analysis.
