Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Cypress and programming knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python to design, develop, and maintain robust end-to-end automated test frameworks for web applications.
Location: Chennai (only)
Mode: F2F
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in Cypress test automation.
- Overall 4-10 years of experience in IT and minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in Cypress is must.
- Proficiency in one of the following languages Java / Javascript / Typescript / Python.
- Experience with REST API automation using Cypress or other tools is good to have.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress.
- Implement test cases for UI, API, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to identify test scenarios and ensure full coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain existing automation frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in test automation.
- Prepare detailed test reports and track defects to closure.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Playwright, Selenium, or API Automation.
- Knowledge in Insurance domain is good to have
