We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Secrets Engineer to join our onsite team in Mumbai.
Position Overview
The Cybersecurity Secrets Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing enterprise secrets management solutions to secure privileged credentials, application secrets, API keys, certificates, and machine identities. The role involves integrating secrets management platforms with enterprise applications, automating secret rotation, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and administer enterprise Secrets Management solutions.
- Secure application credentials, API keys, certificates, tokens, and privileged secrets.
- Configure and manage secret lifecycle, including automated rotation and expiration.
- Integrate enterprise applications, databases, and cloud platforms with Secrets Management solutions.
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and least-privilege access.
- Support machine identity and application authentication.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security teams for secure integrations.
- Monitor secrets usage and investigate unauthorized access attempts.
- Troubleshoot secrets retrieval, authentication, and integration issues.
- Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or Identity & Access Management.
- Hands-on experience with one or more Secrets Management platforms (CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Google Secret Manager, etc.).
- Experience securing application secrets, credentials, certificates, and encryption keys.
- Knowledge of authentication protocols, RBAC, and Zero Trust security principles.
- Experience with REST APIs and application integrations.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have (Preferred Skills)
- Experience with Kubernetes and container security.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
- Relevant cybersecurity or cloud certifications.
