About SARC Global

SARC Global is a multidisciplinary advisory firm with 40+ years of experience, 100+ partners, 500+ professionals, and a presence across India, UK, USA, Singapore, and UAE. We are building a dedicated cybersecurity practice, backed by strategic technology partnerships and deep BFSI client relationships, to become India's most trusted cybersecurity advisory firm.

The Opportunity

This is not a typical cybersecurity job. We are looking for someone who wants to build something from the ground u, a person who can walk into a CISO's office, run a discovery engagement, assess the full spectrum of an organisation's cyber posture, architect a remediation roadmap, create urgency, close the deal, and then ensure flawless delivery.

You are an engineer at heart who has evolved into a trusted advisor. You understand that selling cybersecurity is not about pushing products, it's about diagnosing risk, building conviction, and delivering outcomes. You will be a founding member of SARC's cybersecurity vertical with a direct path to leadership and equity participation.

What You Will Do

Discovery & Assessment

  • Conduct on-site and remote discovery meetings with CISOs, CIOs, IT Heads, and Risk Officers to assess the organisation's current cybersecurity framework
  • Perform comprehensive gap analysis across all cybersecurity layers: Network Security, Endpoint Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Cloud Security, Application Security, Data Protection, SOC & Incident Response, and Governance/Risk/Compliance (GRC)
  • Map the organisation's maturity against industry frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, RBI/SEBI CSCRF, Zero Trust Architecture)

Solution Architecture & Roadmap

  • Design a prioritised cybersecurity remediation roadmap based on two axes: urgency of risk and ease of implementation
  • Recommend the right mix of technologies, services, and process changes — not tied to any single vendor but leveraging SARC's partnerships (including microsegmentation, ZTNA, EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR, IAM, DLP, CASB)
  • Create compelling, board-ready presentations that translate technical risk into business impact and investment justification
  • Build phased implementation plans that show quick wins within 30–90 days while addressing long-term architectural gaps

Business Development & Deal Closure

  • Own the full sales cycle from first discovery meeting to signed SOW — you are not handing off to a separate sales team
  • Create urgency around cyber risk through data-driven insights, breach case studies, regulatory timelines, and peer benchmarking
  • Build and present commercial proposals including scope, pricing, timelines, and expected outcomes
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of enterprise accounts across BFSI, manufacturing, healthcare, government, and IT/ITES sectors
  • Nurture long-term trusted-advisor relationships with CISOs and security leaders

Delivery Oversight and Management

  • Oversee project delivery without doing hands-on implementation — manage delivery teams, engineering partners, and technology vendors
  • Ensure quality, timelines, and SLA adherence across all active engagements
  • Act as the escalation point and client-facing executive throughout the engagement lifecycle

What You Bring

Non-Negotiables

  • 12+ years in cybersecurity services, consulting, or presales/solutions architecture
  • Deep technical knowledge across the cybersecurity stack: Network Security, Endpoint (EDR/XDR), IAM & PAM, Cloud Security (CSPM/CWPP/CASB), Application Security, Microsegmentation, Zero Trust Architecture, SIEM/SOAR, DLP, and GRC frameworks
  • Proven track record of running discovery engagements, building roadmaps, and closing cybersecurity deals (minimum ₹5–10 Cr annual deal value)
  • Engineer at heart — you've done hands-on implementation earlier in your career and can hold deep technical conversations with any security team
  • Exceptional communication — equally comfortable presenting to a Board/CISO as you are whiteboarding with a SOC team
  • Working knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks: RBI cybersecurity guidelines, SEBI CSCRF, CERT-In directives, DPDP Act

Strong Preferences

  • Experience with BFSI clients (banks, NBFCs, insurance, capital markets)
  • Familiarity with technologies like ColorTokens, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, SentinelOne, Fortinet, or similar
  • CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent certifications
  • Prior experience at a cybersecurity services firm, Big 4 advisory, or a systems integrator's security practice
  • Startup or entrepreneurial mindset — willingness to build from scratch, wear multiple hats, and move fast

Why Join SARC's Founding Cyber Team

Built-In Client Access

500+ enterprise relationships across BFSI, manufacturing, and government. No cold-calling — warm introductions from Day 1.

Technology Partnerships

Strategic alliances with leading cybersecurity OEMs including microsegmentation and Zero Trust vendors.

Founding Equity

This is a founding role with equity/profit-share participation. You're not joining a team, you're building one.

The Ideal Candidate Looks Like This

You've spent the last decade in cybersecurity - perhaps starting as a network or security engineer, moving into solutions architecture or presales, and eventually running client engagements end-to-end. You've worked at firms like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, or a pure-play cybersecurity company. You know what it means to sit across from a CISO who's just had a breach and needs answers, not slides.

You're tired of large-company bureaucracy and want to build something meaningful. You want ownership, impact, and the ability to shape a cybersecurity practice that becomes the benchmark in India.

How to Apply

Send your resume at [Confidential Information] and a brief note on why this role excites you. We value substance over polish, tell us about a deal you closed, a roadmap you built, or a client you transformed.
