Role Overview

As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will work closely with the IT security team to support threat monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and incident response activities. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates looking to begin a career in Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Information Security, or Network Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and potential incidents
• Assist in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing preventive security measures
• Support penetration testing and risk assessments under expert supervision
• Draft and update cybersecurity policies, documentation, and compliance reports
• Assist IT teams during incident response and security investigations
• Research emerging cyber threats, malware patterns, and attack techniques

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields
• Basic understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security protocols
• Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, or Kali Linux (preferred)
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities is an added advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
