Role Overview

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Intern to work closely with our IT security team. In this role, you will assist in monitoring cyber threats, analyzing security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments, and supporting security investigations.

This internship is perfect for students or freshers interested in beginning their careers in Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Information Security, or Network Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and potential incidents.
• Assist in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing preventive measures.
• Conduct penetration testing and risk assessments under expert supervision.
• Draft and update cybersecurity policies, documentation, and compliance reports.
• Support IT teams during incident response and security investigations.
• Research emerging cyber threats, malware patterns, and attack techniques.

Requirements

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
