Job Description
This is a remote position.
Assignment description
The selected candidate will drive governance for securing Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Operational Technology (OT) networks, and automation infrastructures used across manufacturing facilities.
The role ensures alignment with legal, regulatory, and customer requirements while collaborating with automation, IT, plant operations, and global cybersecurity teams to enhance resilience, compliance, and operational continuity.
Duties:
Establish and guide governance for implementing cybersecurity controls across ICS/OT environments (PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, VFDs, IIoT).
Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments for OT systems and production networks.
Develop, improve, and enforce security policies aligned with IEC 62443, customer expectations, legal/regulatory requirements, and internal cybersecurity frameworks.
Support vulnerability management and incident response for OT-related cybersecurity events.
Provide recommendations for patching, firmware upgrades, and secure configuration of industrial assets.
Industrial Automation Systems
Analyze PLC logic, SCADA systems, industrial networks, and automation architecture.
Partner with automation engineers to design secure networks, systems, and communication pathways.
Support OT network segmentation, zoning, and architecture enhancement initiatives.
Review and secure integrations and interfaces between IT and OT environments.
Monitoring & Compliance
Help engineering teams maintain accurate OT asset inventories or SBOMs using automated discovery tools.
Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer cybersecurity expectations.
Facilitate cybersecurity training and awareness sessions for plant personnel and engineering teams.
Requirements
We believe you have:
10+ years experience in industrial automation (PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI) and OT/ICS cybersecurity.
IEC 62443(preferred), NIST 800 82 and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, DNP3)
EXP with firewalls, VLANs, segmentation, and access control.
OT monitoring & vulnerability management tools (Claroty, Nozomi, Tenable.ot, Dragos)
Certifications (Nice to Have)
GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+
Experience with vendor specific automation platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, Honeywell, Schneider Electric)
Required skills

Deep expertise in ICS/OT cybersecurity across PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial automation systems
IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, and regulatory compliance requirements
Network security architecture
