Job Summary

A Cyber Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst is responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient management of digital identities within an organization. The role involves the creation of automated workflows in identity governance, auditing access management roles, and auditing privileged identities to safeguard sensitive information and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identity Governance: Develop and implement automated workflows to streamline identity governance processes, ensuring that digital identities are managed efficiently and securely.
  • Access Management Roles: Conduct regular audits of access management roles to ensure that access rights are appropriately assigned and modified based on the principle of least privilege.
  • Privileged Identity Auditing: Perform audits on privileged identities to monitor and control access to sensitive systems and data, preventing unauthorized access and potential security breaches.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies related to identity and access management.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate risks associated with identity and access management, providing recommendations for improving security posture.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports on identity governance, access management activities, and privileged identity audits, presenting findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate identity and access management solutions within the broader cybersecurity framework.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on identity and access management processes, tools, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in identity and access management, with a strong understanding of identity governance and privileged access management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IAM tools and technologies, such as SailPoint, Okta, and CyberArk.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate security risks.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in auditing and reporting activities.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Management Professional (CIAM), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a large organization or a highly regulated industry.
