Cybersecurity Engineer – Fresher | Job Description
Position: Cybersecurity Engineer – Fresher
Experience: 0–1 Year
Location: Hyderabad
Employment: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor security alerts, logs, and network activity.
Assist in identifying and responding to security incidents.
Perform basic vulnerability assessment and security testing.
Support endpoint, network, and cloud security operations.
Investigate suspicious activities and prepare incident reports.
Follow cybersecurity best practices and security policies.
Work with senior security engineers to resolve security issues.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals, TCP/IP, networking, Linux and Windows.
Basic knowledge of SIEM, SOC operations, firewalls, IDS/IPS and vulnerability assessment.
Familiarity with Python or scripting is an advantage.
Knowledge of common security threats, OWASP and ethical hacking concepts.
Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility:
B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/MCA in Cybersecurity, CSE, IT or related fields.
Freshers with relevant projects, certifications or hands-on labs are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Certifications:
CompTIA Security+, CEH, Google Cybersecurity Certificate or equivalent.
