Role Definition
Performs penetration Testing, Identify the application security bugs, prepare the report, support for an agile Secure software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Execute the penetration testing on the applications (web pen testing, mobile pentesting)
- Prepare the report and share with the development team
- Writing codes to enhance the testing experience.
Skill Descriptors
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques.
- Good understanding on OWASP standards ,
- ability to accurately analyse situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Level Working Knowledge
- Applies an assigned technique for critical thinking in a decision-making process.
- OWASP top10 knowledge
- burpsuite, postman, Sqlmap tools hands on
- Basic knowledge in secure SDLC
- basic programming knowledge (Python/Java)
- Recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes concerns.
- Assists in assessing risks, benefits and consideration of alternatives.
- Effective Communications:
- Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient.
- Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness.
- Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work.
