Job Title: Cybersecurity Architect
Location - Remote in India; must have some overlap with U.S. time zones
Role Type - 1-year contract
Must Have Skills:
- Senior-level cybersecurity architecture experience; Tier 3, not L1/L2
- Cloud security architecture experience, especially Azure security
- Experience deploying native Azure security tools to address cloud development threats
- Application security program experience, including threat modeling, OWASP risks, mitigations, and software architecture patterns
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
Responsibilities and Job Details:
- Support enterprise security architecture, control governance, cloud/platform security, and risk/compliance alignment
- Provide strategic architecture guidance and advisory support across security, cloud, engineering, infrastructure, GRC, procurement, and vendor management teams
- Lead and support security design reviews for cloud, platform, and application environments
- Review software packages for vulnerabilities and cybersecurity compliance
- Support audits, assessments, and cybersecurity risk reviews
- Apply risk-based decision making and system-level thinking to security architecture recommendations
- Help shape and mature application security practices and program standards
- Advise on threat modeling, secure software architecture patterns, OWASP risks, and practical mitigations
- Balance security rigor with business enablement
- Communicate complex security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Mentor junior architects and security engineers
