Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
• Develop and implement security protocols and best practices for the organization.
• Monitor security systems for potential threats and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Provide training and support to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
• Research and stay updated on the latest security threats and hacking techniques.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on security findings and recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-13 years of experience in cybersecurity or ethical hacking roles.
• Proficiency in penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nmap.
• Strong understanding of network security protocols and firewalls.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ for scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Unix from a security perspective.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and OWASP.
• Certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) are preferred.
