Cyber Threat Analyst

Experience: 2-3 Years Qualification: B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, M. Sc IT Analyze and reverse-engineer malware Monitor and manage incident response procedures Identify and assess vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks. Prioritize risks based on severity and potential impact. Work with IT teams to apply patches, updates, or configuration changes to mitigate vulnerabilities. Monitor and collect data on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack trends. Analyze threat intelligence from internal and external sources (e.g., dark web, open-source intelligence, vendor reports). Stay updated on tactics, techniques, and procedures used by cybercriminals, nation-states, or hacktivists. Use security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) to detect suspicious activities or anomalies in networks and systems. Investigate security incidents to determine the scope, impact, and root cause. Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance with security standards.
