Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cyber Security Trainer based in Bengaluru. The trainer will design and deliver engaging and effective training sessions, tailored to enhance participants knowledge and skills in cybersecurity. Responsibilities include developing and updating training materials, conducting practical workshops, staying current with cybersecurity trends, providing hands-on guidance in security tools and practices, and mentoring participants to prepare them for successful careers in cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including network security, threat analysis, incident response, and risk assessment
- Proficiency in using cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
- Strong teaching, communication, and public speaking skills, along with the ability to simplify complex topics
- Experience in training, presenting, or mentoring in a technical field
- Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or similar are highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and best practices
