Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Cyber Security Specialist to safeguard organizational systems, networks, and data. The candidate will be responsible for implementing security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

This role requires strong technical expertise along with strategic thinking to strengthen the overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement security controls and best practices

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

Monitor networks and systems for security breaches

Investigate and respond to security incidents

Develop and enforce security policies and procedures

Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies

Manage firewall, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection systems

Ensure compliance with frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)

Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams for secure infrastructure

Conduct security awareness training sessions

Required Skills & Qualifications

36 years of experience in Cyber Security / Information Security

Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS

Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, etc.)

Hands-on experience in incident response and threat analysis

Knowledge of Vulnerability Scanning Tools (Nessus, Qualys)

Understanding of cloud security (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications like CEH, CISSP, CISM, Security+

Experience with DevSecOps practices

Knowledge of scripting (Python / Bash)

Experience in compliance and audit processes
