Cyber Security Specialist - Finland

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cyber Security Specialist based in Finland. The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for safeguarding organizational systems and data from cyber threats. Day-to-day tasks include implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures, monitoring network activity for potential security breaches, conducting vulnerability assessments, and developing strategies to mitigate risks. The role also involves ensuring compliance with information security standards and working closely with the IT team to plan and deploy secure applications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Application Security and ensuring secure development practices are followed.
• Expertise in Cybersecurity and Information Security to mitigate risks and protect data.
• Strong knowledge of Network Security practices, including monitoring and threat detection.
• Experience in identifying and preventing cyber vulnerabilities and breaches.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think like a threat actor for proactive protection.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are considered a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
