Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and passionate Cyber Security Trainer who can train students in core and advanced cybersecurity concepts through practical, hands-on sessions. The trainer should be able to deliver high-quality learning experiences, guide students on projects, and prepare them for industry certifications and job roles.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct training sessions on Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, Network Security, Web Application Security, and SOC concepts.
- Teach tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Wireshark, Kali Linux, OWASP tools, etc.
- Design and deliver practical labs, assignments, and real-world projects.
- Prepare students for interviews, assessments, and certifications (CEH, Security+, etc.).
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to improve performance.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, tools, and industry trends.
- Assist the academic team in updating curriculum and course content.
- Mentor students during projects, hackathons, and practical simulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Networking & OS concepts
- Ethical Hacking
- Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT)
- Incident Response & SOC
- Security tools & attack techniques
- Practical experience with Linux (Kali), scripting (Python/Bash preferred).
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Prior teaching/training experience preferred (but not mandatory).
Preferred Certifications (Optional)- CEH / CompTIA Security+ / CHFI / OSCP / ECSA / CISSP (any one)
