Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the ABB Group Cyber Security Council (GCSC) in implementing the cyber security strategy for ABB's offerings (products, deployment projects, and services) aligned with ABB's overall strategy and business needs. More specifically, you will manage the GCSC joint services, projects, and other operational activities on their behalf in collaboration with the Business Areas, Divisions, and Corporate Functions.

This role is contributing to the cyber security posture for the ABB's offerings (products, deployment projects, and services) globally. Main stakeholder is the ABB Group Cyber Security Council.

The work model for the role is: Li-Onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Cyber Security Strategy & Governance Support implementation of ABB/Business Area/Division cyber security strategies. Develop and maintain group-level cyber security policies, standards, and guidelines aligned with the group policy framework.
  • Assurance, Risk, & Exception Management Manage the cyber security assurance program and exception handling process. Ensure relevant risks are addressed and reported through predefined KPIs to key stakeholders (e.g., CTOs, EC, FACC).
  • Awareness, Training & Communication Implement and roll out cyber security awareness and training initiatives. Maintain internal communication channels (e.g., internal sites, documentation).
  • Coordination & Project Management Support the Group Cyber Security Council by managing joint services, initiatives, and operational projects in collaboration with Business Areas, Divisions, and Corporate Functions.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Cyber Security Proficiency In-depth knowledge of cyber security technologies, solutions, and processes solid understanding of operational technology.
  • Program & Domain Experience managing or developing programs in multiple areas such as secure development lifecycle, security training/testing, incident response, SBOM, supply chain security, PKI, performance monitoring, and compliance with security standards.
  • Project Management Minimum 5 years of project management experience in cyber security-related initiatives.
  • Educational Background bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or science-based disciplines.
  • Global Collaboration Skills Demonstrated capability to work effectively in global, cross-functional teams and collaborative environments.
  • Work Approach Self-motivated, structured, results-driven capable of setting priorities and managing time effectively in demanding settings.
  • Communication & Language Skills Proficient written and verbal communication fluent in English with the ability to convey complex topics clearly.
