Cyber Security Manager (Operations and IAM)

Description

The Cybersecurity Department is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to work full-time in the Insight Global Hyderabad, IN Office. The manager will be reporting to the Global Senior Director of Cyber Security Operations (in the US), while dotted line reported to the Global Director of Identity & Access Management. The role will be overseeing the day to day operations for the Cyber Security Operations team members and Identity & Access Management team members reporting in this office and support the Global CISO to provide the highest quality service to Insight Global business units and customers.

This person will be responsible for direct reports that are specialized across multiple disciplines related to Cyber Security incident response, Vulnerability management, and Identity & Access Management. This role will require a person who can lead people, assist with implementing the latest cyber security requirements locally through people leadership, and help with local escalations across these cyber security disciplines. This role will require to work closely with the application development teams and sales force teams to grow and maintain the cyber security posture in the region.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or related field
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts and Incident Response concepts
  • Experience with IAM or Incident Response technologies, such as SIEM, Endpoint Detection solutions, Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, and identity governance platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to IAM (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Relevant Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain day to day operations with the local team as outlined by leadership which include but are not limited to
  • Cyber Security Operations core objectives:
  • Support application discovery and coverage validation
  • Direct application vulnerability scans (Static code analysis and Dynamic application analysis)
  • Manage hands-on web application and network-level penetration testing to identify, validate, and document exploitable vulnerabilities with clear remediation guidance
  • Drive intake of scan outputs to identify application vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and outdated software dependencies
  • Manage application vulnerabilities in ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
  • Drive remediation efforts across code repositories
  • Serve as an escalation point for the deep analysis of logs (security and system) to identify security threats across the identity, network, email, and endpoint domains.
  • Drive documentation of security incidents
  • Manage the threat hunting for emerging threats using behavioral analytics and threat intel across the global enterprise
  • Work as a team to drive accurate incident detection and eradication activities
  • Facilitate the investigations phishing, malware, insider threat, and fraud events
  • IAM core objectives:
  • Develop and enforce IAM policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for the IN office
  • Direct the regular audits of user accounts, permissions, and roles to ensure appropriate access levels.
  • Monitor IAM systems for security incidents and respond to any breaches or unauthorized access.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for IAM-related issues and service requests.
  • Assist in the implementation and integration of new IAM technologies and tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation for IAM processes, configurations, and workflows.
  • Overall objectives:
  • Collaborate with local IT teams as needed to drive security requirements
  • Meet with US peers on a recurring basis to drive alignment and escalate issues
  • Ability to drive their own workload and take initiative
  • Work in office 5 days a week
  • Join US-hours meeting as needed 9am EST
