At Internmo, we're doing things differently. This isn't a traditional job or a standard internship—it's an open collaboration program designed for aspiring cybersecurity professionals to gain hands-on, real-world experience. If you are self-taught, a boot-camp graduate, a student, or transitioning careers, this is a space for you to work on actual security challenges, build your portfolio, and learn by doing alongside our team.

What You'll Do

• Monitor & Analyze: Track system logs and network traffic to identify potential vulnerabilities or suspicious activities.
• Test & Audit: Assist in conducting basic vulnerability assessments and security audits on web applications and networks.
• Research Threats: Investigate the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging malware, and common attack vectors (like phishing or SQL injection).
• Document & Report: Help draft security guidelines, document incident response processes, and outline best practices to keep systems safe.

Who You Are

• Passionate about cybersecurity and eager to learn (no specific computer science or security degree required).
• Solid grasp of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS) and basic operating system internals (Linux and Windows).
• Familiar with fundamental security principles like encryption, firewalls, and access controls.
• Bonus points: If you have hands-on experience with tools like Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, or if you regularly participate in Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges.
• Curious, driven, and comfortable asking questions.
