Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity SOC Trainer Specialised in Azure Sentinel Tool who possesses real-time industry knowledge and hands-on experience in Security Operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and presentation skills and be capable of delivering high-quality cybersecurity training sessions. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical sessions on SOC operations, SIEM, EDR, Malware Analysis, and Threat Intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver live and interactive training sessions focused on SOC (Security Operations Center) processes and tools.
- Teach key cybersecurity concepts, including:
- SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Qradar, etc.)
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- Malware analysis and reverse engineering basics
- Threat Intelligence and Incident Response
- Develop and present real-time use cases, scenarios, and project-based learning.
- Take full ownership of the training module delivery, ensuring participant engagement and learning outcomes.
- Provide hands-on lab exercises and guidance for tools and simulations.
- Address learner queries and support their technical understanding.
- Collaborate with the content team to update and enhance training materials as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of working experience in a SOC environment or cybersecurity operations.
- Strong practical knowledge in SIEM, EDR, Threat Intelligence, and Malware Analysis.
- Prior experience in training, mentoring, or public speaking is a plus.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and guiding students in launching cybersecurity careers.
- Flexibility to conduct sessions during evenings or weekends (online).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications like or Splunk/SIEM certifications.
- Experience working with tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Wireshark.
- Familiarity with incident detection, triage, investigation, and reporting processes.
