We are hiring Cyber Security Engineers, to work across domains that most engineers only read about.

RUDRA is a cybersecurity company. We work on security for critical infrastructure, industrial systems, power grids, financial systems, defence along with maritime communications security..

At Rudra, we are a tight-knit team. When you join, you will work across the full life-cycle of a project - from understanding the problem to building and delivering the solution.

What you will do:

• Study the security needs of a project and plan the right approach
• Set up and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS systems and monitoring tools
• Investigate security incidents and fix the root cause - not just the symptom
• Read and understand code well enough to spot problems and write automation scripts (Python/Bash)
• Document your work clearly so others can understand and continue it

What we are looking for:

• Good understanding of network security basics - firewalls, protocols, threat detection
• Strong understanding of code - you can read, debug and write scripts without needing someone to explain what it does
• Someone who can handle different types of work - not only one specific task
• Good communication - with your team and with clients who are not always technical
• Someone who takes responsibility and sees their work through to the end

Qualifications: Degree in CS or cybersecurity, basic hands-on experience in security. Certifications like Security+, CEH or CISSP are a plus but not mandatory.
