Introduction

Hyphen is working with a global derivatives and commodities trading firm to hire a Security Engineer for its Singapore office, who will play a crucial role in maintaining their security posture and regulatory relationships in Singapore.

You'll join a lean, high-impact cyber security team responsible for protecting a global trading business, working closely with teams in the UK while supporting security operations across the APAC region.

This is a broad, hands-on blue team role covering security engineering, detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, PAM, SIEM/EDR, and security automation. It's an excellent fit for experienced security engineers who enjoy owning security tooling and operations end-to-end rather than working in a highly siloed environment.

What you'll bring:

• 6+ years in Cyber Security
• Hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea or equivalent)
• Strong SIEM, EDR/XDR, incident response experience
• Hands-on experience with and firm grasp of MAS TRM regulations

Nice to have:

• Detection engineering and MITRE ATT&CK
• Windows, Linux and public cloud security
• Microsoft Entra, Identity Protection or CNAPP
• Experience working in regulated environments (MAS, FCA, NIST, CIS)
