Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst (Remote – India)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard our systems, networks, and data from potential threats. The ideal candidate will monitor security events, identify vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents while ensuring compliance with security standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and analyze alerts to identify potential threats
- Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
- Implement and maintain security controls, tools, and best practices
- Perform regular security audits and risk assessments
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to enhance system security
- Maintain documentation of incidents, processes, and security measures
- Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
- Experience with SIEM tools and log analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skills
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment
