Position Summary
Cloud identity is a critical part of the cyber landscape, and organizations need professionals who can help strengthen, modernize, and secure their directory services environment. As a Consultant - Active Directory, you will support clients in assessing, transforming, and securing Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments as they navigate cloud adoption and identity modernization. You will work across assessment, design, implementation, migration, and operational improvement activities to help clients reduce risk and improve resilience.
Work you'll do
As a Consultant - Active Directory on the Cyber Identity Risk team, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing, designing, and implementing Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID solutions, including domain consolidation, migration, federation, and integration activities
- Performing Active Directory health checks, security assessments, and remediation planning across services such as Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Group Policy, service accounts, and privileged access
- Supporting client efforts to modernize identity environments, including Azure Active Directory single sign-on migration, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) integration, application migration, and Azure Active Directory or Microsoft 365 readiness
- Implementing directory security controls and operational improvements, including role-based access control, domain hardening, disaster recovery planning, and security reporting
- Troubleshooting directory and infrastructure issues, documenting findings and remediation steps, and contributing technical guidance, training, and cyber risk eminence activities

Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution design, or client problem solving
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft identity and access management technologies, including Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services, and Azure Active Directory
- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Active Directory services, including trusts, federation, single sign-on, and application integration
- Experience with Active Directory domain cleanup, domain and forest recovery, Group Policy Object administration, group Managed Service Accounts, and security group management
- Experience integrating identity and access management solutions with Microsoft Entra ID and virtual directory services
- Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Computer Applications, or Master of Computer Applications degree
Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience with identity and access management protocols, including WS-Federation, Security Assertion Markup Language, OpenID Connect, and OAuth
- 3+ years of experience implementing identity and access management security solutions for Microsoft Active Directory environments
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- 2+ years of experience with Azure Advanced Threat Protection
- Microsoft role-based certifications, Certified Cloud Security Professional, Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
