About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cutlist Team Lead from the modular furniture or interior manufacturing industry to lead our Cutlist Department.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modular furniture manufacturing, production planning, material optimization, and team management. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 10–12 Cutlist Makers, ensuring accurate production documentation, minimizing material wastage, and coordinating with design and factory teams for seamless execution.

Hands-on experience with Infurnia is mandatory.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10–12 Cutlist Makers.
• Allocate projects and monitor daily team productivity.
• Review and approve all cutlists before releasing them to production.
• Train team members on company standards and best practices.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development sessions.
• Build a high-performing and accountable technical team.

Cutlist & Production Documentation

• Generate accurate cutlists using Infurnia.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Prepare manufacturing drawings for production.
• Verify dimensions, materials, hardware, and specifications.
• Ensure error-free production documentation.
• Maintain revision history and documentation standards.

Production Planning

• Coordinate with the Design Department for project handovers.
• Plan cutlist releases according to factory production schedules.
• Prioritize projects based on delivery commitments.
• Resolve technical issues during manufacturing.
• Ensure timely release of production-ready documents.

Material Optimization

• Optimize sheet utilization to reduce material wastage.
• Improve cutting efficiency.
• Standardize material usage across projects.
• Work closely with production to improve manufacturing efficiency.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate closely with:

• Interior Designers
• Production Managers
• Factory Supervisors
• CNC Operators
• Panel Saw Operators
• Edge Band Operators
• Assembly Team
• Procurement Team
• Quality Team
• Installation Team

Process Improvement

• Develop and implement SOPs for cutlist preparation.
• Improve department productivity.
• Reduce production errors.
• Standardize manufacturing documentation.
• Improve turnaround time for project releases.
• Drive continuous process improvements.

Software & Technical SkillsMandatory

• Strong hands-on experience with Infurnia.
• Ability to generate:
• Cutlists
• Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Manufacturing Drawings
• Hardware Lists
• Production Documentation
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.

• 8–15 years of experience in modular furniture or interior manufacturing.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading a Cutlist Team.
• Experience managing a team of 10–12 Cutlist Makers.
• Strong expertise in Infurnia (Mandatory).
• Excellent knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production planning and factory operations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
