Role Description

This part-time, remote role for a Customs Agent involves managing and supporting import and export processes to ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include handling customs brokerage tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and facilitating customer service inquiries related to trade logistics. The Customs Agent will also ensure the timely and accurate completion of customs documentation and work closely with internal and external parties to optimize import-export processes.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Customs Brokerage and Import-Export processes.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with export procedures and regulations on both domestic and international trade.
• Proficiency in managing trade documentation, compliance requirements, and logistics coordination.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach.
• Experience in the agricultural or trading industry is advantageous.
• Relevant certification or training in Customs or International Trade is a plus.
