Job Description – Customer Support Intern (Operations Team)

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Customer Support Intern to join our Operations team. This role is ideal for someone starting their career and looking to gain hands-on experience in customer support and operations. You will assist in handling basic customer queries, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day support activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to basic customer queries via email and chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in resolving simple customer issues and escalate complex cases to senior team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and updates in the system.
  • Support the Operations team in tracking ongoing cases and follow-ups.
  • Help ensure all customer requests are addressed within defined timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (such as verification or tech teams) for issue resolution.
  • Assist in preparing reports and maintaining support-related documentation.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal). Knowledge of English is mandatory; Tamil/Hindi is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of customer service principles.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and email communication.
