Requirement Summary
We are currently supporting a large-scale retail client engagement that involves application support, data validation, and integration monitoring. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in customer/application support, along with hands-on experience in database (DB) validation and API testing. While specific WFM experience may not be common at this level, candidates with exposure to similar enterprise applications or retail systems will be a good fit.
Key Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in customer support or application support roles
- Good understanding of SQL/Database queries for data validation and troubleshooting
- Experience in API testing (e.g., Postman or similar tools)
- Exposure to retail domain or enterprise applications (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle incidents and provide L1/L2 level support
- Good communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 application support for a retail-based system, including incident handling and resolution
- Perform DB validations and data analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Execute and validate API requests/responses and troubleshoot integration issues
- Monitor scheduled jobs, integrations, and data synchronization processes
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution within SLA
- Document issues, test cases, and resolution steps
- Support ongoing testing and validation for enhancements, fixes, and production issues
Additional Notes
- Candidates with experience in retail systems, POS, or workforce-related applications will have an added advantage
- Immediate to short notice joiners are preferred
