The Role

We're looking for a Student Advisor (6-Month Contract) to join our team and help students and graduates navigate their options. Think of this role as part advisor, part problem-solver, and part professional call-back champion.

You'll be speaking with candidates who have already shown interest in our programs. They've visited our website, sent a message, dropped us a WhatsApp, or asked for a call. Your job is to respond quickly, understand their goals, answer their questions, and help them decide which program fits them best.

This role sits at the intersection of customer support, admissions, and sales. If you enjoy helping people make big life decisions and can keep up with a fast-moving environment, you'll feel right at home.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Return missed calls and respond promptly to candidates who have requested contact via website enquiries, WhatsApp, social media DMs, and phone.
  • Speak with students and graduates to understand their career goals, motivations, and concerns.
  • Guide candidates towards the most suitable Capital Placement program based on their needs and aspirations.
  • Answer questions about program structure, fees, timelines, and outcomes with clarity and confidence.
  • Build rapport quickly and create a positive first impression of Capital Placement.
  • Follow up with prospective candidates to keep conversations moving and maintain engagement.
  • Keep accurate records of conversations and outcomes in our CRM and internal systems.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Partnerships Teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Identify common questions or objections and share feedback to help improve our messaging and processes.

Who You Are

  • A confident communicator who genuinely enjoys speaking with students and graduates from around the world.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role such as sales, admissions, recruitment, customer success, or support.
  • Excellent phone manner and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of conversations across multiple channels.
  • Empathetic, patient, and naturally persuasive without sounding pushy.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple follow-ups at once.
  • Motivated by and energised by helping people make important decisions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same.
  • A proactive mindset, you don't wait for conversations to happen, you make them happen.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working with students, graduates, or early-career audiences.
  • Background in education, admissions, recruitment, or consultative sales.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and messaging platforms such as WhatsApp or live chat.
  • Experience working in a high-enquiry or high-volume environment.
