Roles & Responsibilities Of Gold Loan Appraiser-

Perform gold purity checks correctly using the banks methods. Make sure gold valuation is accurate and follows all rules.
Prepare clear and complete appraisal documents, keep records updated, and follow UV and documentation guidelines.
Follow all SOPs, KYC, and audit requirements while handling and storing gold safely. Report any suspicious, low‑purity, or doubtful cases immediately.
Support loan disbursal, renewals, follow‑up for overdue or spurious cases, and help in NPA auction coordination while meeting timelines.
Process customer transactions, maintain accuracy, and work with external valuers when needed.
Explain the valuation results to customers in simple terms, handle their queries, coordinate with branch teams for smooth service, and ensure timely submission of documents to CPC after audit.
