Customer Service Officer_O_WBG OPERATIONS (OPS)_0469_0631_1063025

Key Responsibilities

• Manage processing of Trade Finance products including:
  • Letter of Credit (LC) Issuance, Advising, Amendment, Confirmation & Closure
  • Bank Guarantees (BG) Issuance, Amendment & Invocation
  • Import & Export Bills Processing
  • Collection Bills and Documentary Credits
  • Shipping Guarantees and Trade Loans
• Ensure compliance with:
  • UCP 600
  • ISBP
  • URDG
  • FEMA Guidelines
  • Internal RBI and Bank Policies
• Monitor transaction processing within defined TATs and service levels.
• Handle discrepancy management, client queries, exception approvals, and operational risk issues.
• Liaise with Business, Relationship Managers, Compliance, Treasury, and Branches for smooth transaction execution.
• Conduct periodic process reviews and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Review operational MIS, productivity reports, audit observations, and compliance requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members to achieve operational and service excellence.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure closure of observations within timelines.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Banking, or related field.
• 6â€10 years of experience in Trade Finance Operations.
• Strong knowledge of LCs, BGs, Import/Export transactions, SWIFT messages, and trade regulations.
• Prior team handling experience preferred.
