Major Activities

  • Design of TCL Product Features into network

Understand the Design

Parameters,

Design the solution into

Clear ambiguity with NOC

  • Generate Plans For Network Augmentation

Understand network

designs and plan the augmentation

Explain the plan to

peers and team

Communicate with Field

Operations, NOC

  • Network Optimization & Plans

Identify Bandwidth Crunch Areas

Plan Re-grooming the network

  • Synergy with Team

Initiate network

activities

Feedback to reporting Manager

Bring the team to the required level

of functional expertise

  • Imparting Training to Teams

Impart On the

job training to team

Recommend external

training needs

6 Problem Management

  • Drive

problem resolution across all functions for the timely delivery of services

Essential Qualifications

Degree

in Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering

Requisite Skills

Technical

Knowledge of SDH /DWDM / SONET technologies

Knowledge of Ethernet/IP Technology

Knowledge of SDH Multiplexer's , GMPLS

Knowledge of International Submarine Cable n/w for IPLC

Functional

Knowledge

of OSS systems

Hand On

experience on Various Vendor NMS/ EMS like Ciena , ECI , Marconi , Tejas.

Written

& Oral Communication skills.

Knowledge

of International Submarine Cable n/w for IPLC

Knowledge

of Cramer/NIMS/REPC/TCX

Behavioural
