Shift timings will follow the Australian time zone starting at 2:00 AM/ 3:00 AM (IST) based on business requirements. Week offs will be rotational.
Public and festive holidays will follow the Australian calendar.Job SummaryWe are looking for a VoIP Provisioning engineer with ISP/Telecom network expertise to design, implement and manage end to end VoIP services for enterprise customers. This role involves configuring Juniper PEtoCE connectivity, optimizing SIP call flows, provisioning Nokia switches and deploying SBC configurationRoles & ResponsibilityDesign, provision, activate and support endtoend VoIP services (SIP & TDM) across core voice networks and interconnect platforms.
Configure and validate voice routing, dial plans, numbering structures and call flows.
Configure and manage SIP trunks and interconnects.
Provision services across access, aggregation (Carrier Ethernet) and core network elements.
Configure customer-facing CPEs and network devices as required.
Configure and troubleshoot Juniper PE-to-Customer CE connectivity for VoIP/data, including BGP/OSPF, static routes, NAT and QoS.
Execute service activation, migration and cutover activities with minimal customer impact.
Perform pre and postchange validations, including test calls and service acceptance testing.
Support planned network changes and maintenance windows (day/night).
Adhere to change management processes and quality gates.
Maintain accurate documentation, configurations and as-built records.
Perform Level 2 troubleshooting and prepare RCA reports for quality related issues.Educational Qualification
Bachelors degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 telecommunication provider/ISP within the Fixed Voice domain.
Nice to have: Cisco- CCNP Collaboration, Juniper JNCIP-SP, Nokia NRS or Ribbon SBC (vendor specific certifications).Mandatory SkillsKnowledge in VoIP and SIP callflow engineering, including SIP, VoIP, ISDN, and PSTN.
Fair understanding of IP networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routing, QoS, and VLANs.
Vendor specific optional skills: Juniper, SIP, Nokia & Ribbon SBC.
Optional vendor skills: Oracle SBC, C20 Softswitch, Nortel CS2K, and AlcatelLucent Voice Platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders.
