We enable tenants to pay rent with their credit card at no extra cost, earn rewards instantly, and spend them with 200+ top brands. Our platform helps landlords get paid faster and improves tenant satisfaction making renting rewarding for everyone.

We're scaling fast and are looking for a Customer Service Generalist to be the voice of Tern Rewards for our growing user base. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love solving problems, and want to make renting better across the region, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for tenants and landlords via chat, email, and phone.
  • Handle onboarding questions, payment queries, and troubleshooting with empathy and speed.
  • Manage inbound support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer experience.
  • Maintain and update our Help Center and FAQs.
  • Work closely with product and operations teams to share customer feedback and spot improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in light operational tasks such as document verification and account activation.
  • Experiment with AI tools to enhance customer service efficiency, automate routine queries, and improve response quality.

What We're Looking For

  • Language: Fluent in English, Hindi and Malayalam
  • Experience: 24 years in customer service, operations, or client-facing roles.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Arabic a plus).
  • Mindset: Customer-first attitude, proactive problem solver, and adaptable in a startup setting.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, ticketing systems, and common SaaS platforms.
  • AI Curiosity: Some hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools in a customer service context (chatbots, knowledge bases, automation).
  • Availability: Flexibility to work UAE business hours.
