- Greet and assist passengers at the airport, providing them with information and directions as needed
- Check-in passengers and their luggage, ensuring all necessary documents are in order
- Handle inquiries and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor flight schedules and assist with rebooking or rescheduling as needed
- Collaborate with other airport staff and airline representatives to ensure a seamless travel experience for passengers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the check-in counters and waiting areas
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of passengers and airport staff
- Keep up-to-date with airline policies and procedures to provide accurate and helpful information to passengers
- Handle cash and credit card transactions for ticket sales and other airport services
- Assist with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Fluency in English and Tamil is required, knowledge of other languages is a plus
