A Day in Your Life at MKS:

This is an opportunity to join our Customer Master Management Team in India. You will be responsible for centrally managing the customer master data for our global chemicals and equipment division. Working closely with stakeholders in sales, finance, and operations, you will make a significant impact on improving data quality and accelerating business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of customer master data in our SAP systems, ensuring that data is complete, consistent, accurate, and always up to date.
  • Design and implement streamlined processes for creating and maintaining customer master data efficiently, in compliance with our company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders globally to understand and resolve issues deriving from data.
  • Establish sustainable data quality indicators and lead larger master data cleanup initiatives globally.
  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Harmonize customer data structures across multiple locations and business units. Prevent and reduce duplication of data records.
  • Drive continuous improvement in customer master data processes and systems and reduce time and effort for all involved parties such as sales, finance, and operations.
  • Innovate master data management through automation.
  • Provide comprehensive training and support to data consumers, enabling them to execute sales and operational transactions within the systems with ease.

Qualifications / Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, information systems or business administration.
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing and maintaining customer master data, ideally within the Sales and Distribution & Finance Module of SAP with interfaces to common CRM systems and data governance tools such as Informatica or SAP MDG
  • Strong skills in analysing large data sets using Excel, Power BI, Python or similar.
  • Experience in process automation is a plus.
  • High sense of detail and finesse in solving problems
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Experienced in working within a multinational company in matrix organisation structure.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data management principles.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
