Customer Logistics Manager

As a Customer Logistics Manager, you will be accountable for in-country distribution and Order-to-Cash to ensure timely delivery to customers. You will oversee in-country supply chain activities to ensure we meet our service goals. You will be responsible for ensuring world class service levels and License -to-operate for local distribution and to implement supply chain strategies that successfully deliver our innovative medicines to customers and patients. This is a key role within the end-to-end supply chain operating model that interacts with local and global stakeholders.
Ensure in-market supply on time in full at the right quality and cost
Enable sustainable supply of medicines through smooth transacting along a robust CFA management process - Ensuring efficient, smooth & timely Order Execution Delivery
Ensure License to operate for supply chain order to cash process and Import & custom duties process.
Partner with CSM (Country Supply Manager) for upstream replenishment coordination from central packaging site incl. exception management.
Implement and/or monitor an efficient cost-to-serve-model (incl. KPI metrics) and ensure OTIF Targets are met.
Manage contracts and optimize performance with supply chain service providers (e.g. logistics Service providers) incl. establishing and monitoring KPI metric
Build a strong and sustainable relationship with our Warehouse / CFA service providers to ensure reliable operations by adhering to all Statutory & Legal regulations
Conduct training for CFA and warehouse staff for strict adherence to SOPs, updating knowledge regarding latest organization situation & expectations and sharing best practices
Define & implement SOPs for CFA Management related activities
Build & implement parameters for performance evaluation of CFA/Warehouse Service Providers
Monitor and control Warehouse & Distribution and/or Logistic Service Provider operational cost as part of the Supply Chain budget
Leverage data for decision making by using e.g. analytics, simulation tools and customer insights
Drive efficiency through identifying value-adding and productivity-enhancing in-market opportunities through technology and data.
Collaborate with different functions in the affiliate to understand the changes which may impact supply to and within the country and align with CSM to adjust the replenishment Plan.
Contribute to the supply chain design together with the CVSP (Customer value Stream Partner) and support implementation of supply solutions to meet customer requirements
Ensure appropriate supply chain set-up (incl. e.g. master data) in-line with the life cycle status of the product/portfolio
Lead & implement in-market supply projects/initiatives to gain efficiency and meet customer needs (e.g. cold chain, home delivery etc).
Deep understanding of the distribution environment (Imports, Customs Authority regulations, transportation, health authority regulations, GXP, country(s) infrastructure)
Able to build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships
Solid understanding of supply chain planning and execution systems
Possess strong business, logistics, and supply Chain acumen
Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
Knowledgeable of SAP (SD module)
Strong communicator and connector between the Business, Finance, Quality, Regulatory and Supply Chain teams
Systems thinker, deep listener, able to uncover novel insights
Capability to translate the future healthcare landscape changes to supply chain challenges and opportunities (i.e. participate in the design of future proof end to end supply chain solutions)
Business proficient in English
Key interface / Stakeholders:
Upstream supply chain roles such as CSM GLM,BFA and SCBP.
Local supply chain team such as CVSP
Local functions such as Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory.
Qualification and Experience
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or degree in Supply Chain Management,
Job Required Competencies
10+ years of experience in operation experience in the GMP production environments, with proven expertise in distribution planning, supply chain planning, MNC preferred.
Experienced in new planning system startup readiness and ramp up.
Strong knowledge of inventory replenishment concepts, Imports.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and execution skills
Able to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans
Fluent communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
