Customer Fulfilment Product Manager

ROLE SUMMARY

The Product Manager is a crucial role that plays a key part in shaping the product strategy with the business product owner and driving the execution of the product's vision measured by OKRs through the IDT platform enablement:

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Takes ownership of the product (SAP TMS) and enabling platforms strategy, governance, capabilities development, and team management
• Contributes to the organisation's portfolio strategy, leads vendor governance, enforces IDT standards and optimises the Total Cost of Ownership for a product
• Drives and manages the development and operational KPIs for the product and enabling platforms
• Delivers the development and operational (DevSecOps) KPIs through BAT and partner teams
• Drives the product and enabling platforms success and aligns with the organisation's overall goals and objectives
• Ensures that the enabling platforms adhere to IDT standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
• Enforce compliance with security, data privacy, group architecture standards and regulatory requirements (Sec)
• Drive and manage (outsourced) delivery of service capabilities and the governance of service providers.
• Participate in internal and external service review meetings.
• Lead and drive resolution of IT service and/or business issues using agreed escalation routes
• Evaluate business risks and issues related to operational incidents, potential changes and internal audit reports. Implement appropriate risk management processes and take appropriate and timely actions.
• Leads on BAT side Product deployment projects and governs vendor delivery

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

• Deep understanding of Supply Chain Fulfilment processes and practical experience of improvement of these processes leveraging technology
• Experience and awareness of the typical requirements for solution integration and data management
• Experience managing and communicating with global teams.
• Experience managing 3rd Parties teams

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

• Ability to think clearly, prioritise and make decisions under time-sensitive and high-pressure conditions.
• Business acumen, ability to articulate both businesses, commercial and technical ideas clearly and simply.
• Experience in our preferred Transportation Management solution of choice is highly desirable: SAP TM, and in general experience in deploying/managing Supply Chain Transportation and Warehousing solutions
• Strong awareness of the solutions and vendors available in the market place for Supply Chain
• Experience in large global organisations using in-sourced and out-sourced IT service providers
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to plan own work to meet overall goals and objectives
• Effective communication and relationship management - experience working with business stakeholders across various business functions
• Robust team work demonstrated both within and outside the IT function - Ability to generate trust, build alliances, and orchestrate interdisciplinary matrix teams, with internal and external participants
• Awareness and understanding of Lean-Agile project management and solution development methodologies and frameworks e.g. DevSecOps and SAFe.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

• Degree Educated, with minimum 5-10 years post graduate work experience preferably in a business facing IT role
