Job Description: Intern Customer Care Executive

Location: Homeless Care Foundation, New Delhi

Duration: Internship (3-6 months or extendable based on performance)

Stipend: As per foundation norms

Role Overview

We are seeking a Customer Care Executive Intern with excellent communication skills to support our outreach and beneficiary engagement. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about social impact, eager to learn, and motivated to contribute to meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound communication with beneficiaries, partners, and volunteers.
  • Provide clear, empathetic, and professional responses to queries via phone, email, and social platforms.
  • Assist in documenting feedback and maintaining accurate records of interactions.
  • Support program teams in coordinating beneficiary services and follow-ups.
  • Contribute to awareness campaigns by sharing program information with stakeholders.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior staff while ensuring timely resolution

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and patience.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and digital communication tools.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.

Eligibility

  • Current students or recent graduates in Communication, Social Work, Management, or related fields.
  • Prior internship or volunteering experience in customer service or social sector preferred but not mandatory.
