As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of tailored software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance, all while aligning with the broader business goals. Collaboration and leadership are central to managing the progress and success of multiple projects simultaneously.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment between technical and business stakeholders.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Experience as a business analyst in the banking industry
- Profound knowledge of common tools and methods (e.g. Confluence, GitLab, Story Mapping, User Journeys, UML/BPMN)
- Experience as a requirements engineer in agile environments (Scrum/SAFe)
- Comfortable in dynamic settings with bi-weekly releases, driving refinement, feature/user story -definition and UAT
- Strong technical understanding of API s
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills (business, interface partners, developers)
- Effective communicator with data-driven insights and storytelling
- Motivated team player with a sense of product ownership
- Fluent in English language
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis.
- The candidate is required to work out of the Client Office in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days per week, as per the mandate.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
