Summary:
The Plant Simulation Engineer will develop and analyze discrete event simulation models to support manufacturing system design and optimization using Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.
Technical Professional Skills
- Develop Discrete Event Simulation models using Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation
- Model material flow, logistics, and production systems
- Perform throughput, bottleneck, and scenario analysis
- Validate models using production data and KPIs
- Prepare simulation reports and technical documentation
- Collaborate with leads and project teams
Required Experience & Skills:
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.
- Basic SimTalk scripting.
- Strong understanding of Discrete Event Simulation principles.
- Basic manufacturing and material flow knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to manufacturing KPIs and digital factory concepts.
- Awareness of MES/MOM or PLM systems.
