As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require you to be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the software development lifecycle.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Business Process Manager (BPM).
• Must be experienced in IBM FileNet, GraphQL APIs, OpenSearch, IBM Watson AI/MCP tools/LLMs, and AWS.
• Experience with process modeling and automation tools, IBM FileNet development and IBM Watson Orchestrate, MCP tools, and LLM-based document processing.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile.
• Ability to integrate various systems and applications effectively.
• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and deployment strategies and Integration of Watson AI (NLP, OCR, text analysis) with enterprise applications, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud native development.
• Proficiency in GraphQL design and integration.
• Hands on experience in OpenSearch/Elasticsearch setup and tuning.
• Should be focused on building and deploying intelligent content management and enterprise search solutions enhanced by OCR, OpenSearch, and AI driven LLM technologies.
• Should have working knowledge of AWS and IBM OpenShift deployments.
