As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific project requirements or stages within the product lifecycle. The role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients, projects, or organizational entities. Collaboration with different teams and adapting to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring that software solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse, Data Build Tool, GitLab CI/CD.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Data Build Tool, GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines and workflows within Snowflake environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration and performance issues.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our PDC3C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
