As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires acting as the main liaison for project activities, coordinating efforts across various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and decision-making to drive project success while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Oversee the alignment of project goals with organizational objectives to ensure consistent progress.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to optimize resource utilization and project outcomes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Good To Have Skills: Program Project Management, Workday Project Management (PM).
- Strong knowledge of Workday Core HCM modules and their integration capabilities.
- Experience in configuring and customizing Workday applications to meet business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions within Workday.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting and analytics tools to support data-driven decision making.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our PDC3C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
