As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. You will engage in understanding the requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the solutions align with organizational goals, and continuously refining the applications to enhance performance and usability. Your role is pivotal in translating business challenges into effective software solutions, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within the existing systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Maintain and optimize existing applications to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Document development processes and application configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their development tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and customizing SAP applications to meet business requirements.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and ability to optimize code for performance in HANA environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP ABAP applications.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect SAP systems with other enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices in coding and testing.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our PDC3B - SEZ location.
