  • Act as primary operator of the continuous smoke test suite — CI-triggered daily execution and pass/fail result reporting — and support regression execution cycles, capturing coverage delta.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases across all four domains as needed per the sprint execution plan, and maintain test case/script updates against changing requirements.
  • Support bench setup, configuration, and readiness checks report bench uptime/availability issues.
  • Log defect findings with sufficient detail (steps, logs, severity indication) for downstream triage, and update requirements-to-test traceability links in TestRail/Jama under SME direction.
  • Monitor Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD pipeline status and trigger smoke test runs as part of daily execution.
  • Contribute to daily execution status reporting and sprint review inputs update Jira tasks and flag blockers.

Professional & Technical Skills

  • 5 years of experience in automotive test execution/validation, with working knowledge of FMVSS/ECE regulatory compliance test objectives.

  • Experience with HIL platforms (dSPACE ControlDesk, NI VeriStand) for bench test execution and log capture.
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD for monitoring pipeline status and triggering smoke-test runs — the primary CI/CD touchpoint among the three Test Engineers.
  • Distinct, hands-on toolchain fluency: TestRail (expert-level, for execution/result recording and defect linking), Jira (expert-level, for defect logging and sprint tasks), and Jama Connect (working-knowledge level, for traceability link maintenance).
  • Ability to read and interpret bench logs/traces to identify failures and anomalies, including regression coverage-delta analysis.
  • Comfortable working in a 2-week Agile sprint cadence within a globally distributed team.

Additional Information

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Automotive Test Execution / HIL Validation, with regulatory/quality test exposure.
