Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison between various stakeholders. The position demands coordinating efforts across teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions that meet business needs. The engineer actively oversees progress, addresses challenges, and ensures that the applications are tailored to support operational goals effectively, fostering collaboration and innovation throughout the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the planning and execution of project tasks to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding their professional growth.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance team productivity and product quality.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
• Strong understanding of production planning concepts and discrete manufacturing processes.
• Experience in configuring and customizing SAP modules to meet specific business requirements.
• Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into technical solutions.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to production planning and control systems.
• Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP PP and other enterprise systems.

• This position is based at our Pune office.
